If you love the idea of crafting with kids but hate the idea of mess, then the HobbyCraft FREE in store craft events are the perfect solution!
I was kindly invited to take part in a themed craft event at HobbyCraft along with a few other Hull and East Riding bloggers. We had so much fun making what could either be a vase or lamp base. (I stuck with a vase to avoid it getting too complicated!)
I was surprised to hear how many free events HobbyCraft hold though! You can access the full listing on their events page which they run throughout the year.
What can you expect?
All the required materials and an instruction booklet are provided on the crafting table ready for your project.
There’s also staff members sat with your group to talk through the process and guide you through using the different materials and tools.
They were great in sharing some top tips for better coverage whilst creating the collage over the card vases.
HobbyCraft’s free craft events are a brilliant way to spend a few hours with your children. Crafts really help develop their creativity and improve dexterity.
Lots of the events they hold are held at all of their HobbyCraft stores but some are specific to certain cities. It’s best to check their events calendar before setting off.
Plus, if you have an NUS card, you can get a 10% discount at HobbyCraft to stock up on tools and materials for your crafting sessions at home.
Thank you to HobbyCraft in Hull who invited me to join in the fun this month – I had a lovely time getting my craft on, learning a new skill and meeting other local bloggers.
