If you’re looking for the simplest of biscuit recipes this one is for you!
Ingredients:
100g (4oz) butter, softened
50g (2oz) caster sugar
150g (5oz) plain flour)
You’ll need a baking tray and rolling pin.
Method:
Pre-heat the oven to 180C or gas mark 4.
Measure the butter into a bowl and beat to soften. Beat in the sugar and flour. Bring the mixture together with your hands to form the dough.
Roll out with your dough with a rolling pin and cut out your desired shapes.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 13 minutes until a pale golden brown.
Lift off the baking tray and leave to cool on a wire rack before decorating if you wish.
Leave to set then enjoy!
