thriftymum small business gift guide title

Whilst many of you might already be planning what you’re going to be buying during the Black Friday and Cyber Weekend sale, I want to promote the great work local businesses do on the run up to Christmas – especially by work from home parents in this Gift Guide.

Not only are these mums and dads making their own preparations for their family Christmases, they’re working long hours to fulfil orders, without big fancy automated systems! They’re the ones driving around after dark to ensure they meet delivery times by hand posting them. These work at home parents are juggling so much in order to spend more time with their kids but often working more hours a day than those who go into an office because being at home is more flexible to fit in with their children’s needs. And yet even though they’re working so hard, these are some of the most creative and innovative designers you will come across!

If you’re looking for something unique for that special someone then your local network of work at home parents is a great place to start. I came across these incredible business people through a local Facebook group and so I wanted to create a little round up of the fab gift ideas for this Gift Guide.
