Brown paper packages wrapped up with string, these are a few of my favourite things…
I simply can’t justify the costs of wrapping paper. It gets ripped off, crumpled up and binned straight away. I can guarantee that the kids give zero cares about how nicely.
This year we’ve been printing our own paper using potatoes.First, chop the potato in half then carve out your festive stamp.
Add your paint colour of choice…
Then just stamp away your pattern! It’s such a fun activity to do with the kids
Once the paint is dry, just use it like normal wrapping paper. I added tiny christmas baubles from Primark and some old string.
Finally, add a sprig of fresh foliage to adorn the gift. It smells amazing and just adds to the thoughtfulness and 3D effect to make it look extra special.
