Since having James, I’m down by SIX stones! But thankfully I’ve still got curves in the right places. Ok, a little too much of a mum tum for my liking still, but I’m working on that. So when Simply Be asked me to check out the new spring collection on their site and let them know what would be on my Wishlist I was quite excited to hear that their sizes start at a 12 – bingo! Clothes designed for curves for all sizes.
How to save money with Simply Be
- First thing I noticed on their site is that there’s currently 10% off everything and FREE delivery. Already winning for the opportunity to be thrifty!
- They also have something called Be Unlimited for an annual payment of £9.95, you get unlimited next day delivery. I can see this would totally be worth the money and save £££ if you were purchasing regularly from the site.
- Did you know they have an outlet section on their site too? You can check it out here!
- Buy classic pieces that will last and go with anything. I didn’t realise Simply Be sold so many designer brands!
My Spring collection Simply Be wish list
My Simply Be wish list casual look:
The first item to stop me in my tracks is this sassy t-shirt modelled by the beautiful Brianna Marquez who is an Olympic powerlifter. At £25 I think its great value as it could be dressed down with jeggings and trainers or worn with a mini skirt, black tights and a leather jacket. It reminds me of the Rocky Horror Show lips and is super sexy. I wear a lot of stripes anyway, so this would fit in with my existing wardrobe perfectly!
Simply Be Jeans and a nice top:
I love love love that there’s a whole section called “Jeans and a nice top.” I actually laughed out loud. SO many times I’ve asked my friends what they’re planning on wearing on a night out and that’s the response I get. “Jeans and a nice top.” But honestly that response has normally filled me with horror. I can do (very) casual and I can do smart for board meetings but I really struggle with that in between area of smart casual or indeed “jeans and a nice top.” So, it was great to see what I should in fact be wearing for this niche. I really like the simplicity and gorgeous colour of this came but the key is how flattering it would be to just skim over my mum tum, plus its only £10.
Simply Be Just Jeans:
I absolutely hate shopping for jeans. I find it really stressful as someone with generous hips and butt with a small waist. Jeans can be tough going for most people but especially if you’re prone to thigh rub. These jeans from Simply Be are made with CoolMax fibres though! They’re designed specifically to move moisture away from the skin to keep you feeling cool through the warmer months. They’re also eco-friendly as they’re made 97% from recycled bottles!!
Simply Be Christening or Wedding Dress Outfit:
Occasion dress shopping also normally fills me with horror. Most dresses are too short, too revealing, too sack like etc etc. I’m in love with this beautiful dress by Chi Chi London. I really like the fitted bodice and capped sleeves to make sure the fit is flattering. I really love the look of the dipped hem too for a bit of extra leg covering. This would be perfect for any spring weddings or christenings coming up.
So basically, I’m sold on Simply Be. Its not somewhere I’ve shopped until now but love that there are so many opportunities to save money with them as well as there being such a HUGE choice to shop from.
